First, congratulations on the impending baby. Being a February person myself, I approve of the birth month.
Second, I am volunteering with Raise Your Pen, a grassroots organization of Polynesians hoping to dispel the stereotypes of the culture as consisting of either football players or gang members. They hope to host an open mic event on Sat, Feb 27 and we were wondering if KCPW is interested in helping the group video and/or sound record this for later playing on KCPW or interviewing members of the group on a show with excerpts from the event. We’re open for suggestions.
