2006 American Muslim Cultural Festival

The 2006 Salt Lake American Muslim Cultural Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday at Washington Square. Festival organizer Ghulam Hasnain says the idea is for Muslims to see and be seen, to foster a greater awareness and understanding between Muslims and the rest of the community. Midday Metro talks to Hasnain, as well as Imam Shuaib of the Khadeeja Mosque in West Valley City.
