Nuke Waste Company Joining Gov's China Trade Trip

(KCPW News) Energy Solutions sticks out on the list of supplement sellers, product manufacturers and financial institutions going to China for the Governor's trade mission. The nuclear waste disposal company is the only business in its sector making the trip. Senior Vice President Greg Hopkins says China is a new frontier for Energy Solutions:"China is building several new power plants, looking at clean alternatives for energy like nuclear, and they need our services," says Hopkins. "We're hoping this will open up some new opportunities."
Energy Solutions is hoping Governor Huntsman's Chinese contacts will open doors with regulating agencies and top energy officials. Hopkins says any waste it takes from Chinese companies would not end up in its Utah dump site:
"Whatever their waste disposition path happens to be in China, that's what we would work with," says Hopkins. "None of that waste would ever come to the U.S."
Energy Solutions currently manages nuclear waste and disposal in forty U.S. states and has applied for permission to expand its waste dump in Tooele County. Nineteen other Utah companies are also hoping for new business opportunities in China as a result of the trade mission set for mid October.

Would you have any suggestions?"No positive replies as yet. I guess no one is interested, or there is too big of an industry storing this nasty stuff, or I did not have a phd behind my name, too bad.Any comments?
