Parties Cry Foul Over Gov's District Map

(KCPW News) Governor Huntsman's diplomatic skills are no match for the contentious debate of re-districting. His proposed map solidifying Democratic support in District Two is upsetting both parties. Huntsman said he drew the lines to prove to Congress that Utah will be fair in creating a fourth seat.

State Democratic Party Director Todd Taylor says it's not a sincere effort and questions why he would want to so many Democrats into one seat, when he could spread them around for a possible chance to secure more seats. Rather than offer a competing map, Taylor is calling for an independent commission to draw the lines.
