None by KCPW
(KCPW News) Salt Lake City could become the next in Utah to ban smoking in parks, cemeteries and on city trails. The City Council will consider the ordinance tomorrow at the recommendation of the Mayor's coalition on drug free communities. Project Director Abbie Vianes says it's intended to protect children and non-smokers from the harmful effects of second hand smoke.Nine cities, including South Jordan, Midvale, Logan and Sandy, already have the ban in place. The Salt Lake City Council will likely refer the proposal to a public hearing.
