Voters Will Decide On School Voucher System
None by Eric Ray
(KCPW News) Voters in Utah will be given the opportunity to decide whether or not to implement a school voucher system. In a unanimous decision today, the Utah Supreme Court ruled that a second voucher bill, House Bill 174, is dependent on the original voucher bill for meaning. Therefore HB 174 will not put a voucher system into effect should Novembers election go against vouchers.Along with this decision, the Utah Supreme Court ruled that November's ballot language does not need to be changed to reflect the impact of House Bill 174. Therefore the ballot language will remain as is.

I am thankful that the Lt. Governor has been an honest broker in this process.
