New Directory Features ONLY Local Businesses

(KCPW News) A print directory featuring independently owned and operated local businesses is available throughout the valley beginning today. The directory is a product of the "Local First" organization, which is making them available as a launch to "Independent's Week."

Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon says 75 percent of economic development in the county is generated by local businesses, and he credits Local First with helping improve the local business climate.

Here is a link to the Local First website, which has a list of "Independent's Week" events and a list of businesses to pick up the Buy Local First business directory.
