Public Invited to View Condition of SLC Public Safety Building

None by Eric Ray

Open House Scheduled for Friday

(KCPW News) The Salt Lake City Police and Fire Departments are holding an open house at the public safety building tomorrow in an effort to gain support for a $192 million bond to build new public safety facilities.

Salt Lake Police Lieutenant Melody Gray says it's an opportunity for the public to see for themselves the deteriorating conditions of the current site.

Tomorrow's open house will include safe trick-or-treating for children and demonstrations by the police K-9 and SWAT teams. The open house will take place from 2pm to 5pm. The public safety building is located at 315 East 200 South.
