Wasatch Forum: Utah's Energy Future
None by KCPW
Recorded Jan. 29, 2008, at Westminster College
The Governor's Blue Ribbon task force has identified global warming as an issue in the state of Utah. How do we meet the energy needs of a growing population in an economical, healthy and environmentally sustainable way?
That was the framing question at last night's Save Our Canyons Wasatch Front Forum at Westminster College. The quarterly series is designed to bring together a multitude of voices surrounding controversial environmental issues facing our community.
Moderated by KCPW's Lara Jones, the forum's panelists included Sarah Wright, Utah Clean Energy; Tim Wagner, Sierra Club' Dianne Nielson, Governor Jon Huntsman's Energy Advisor; and Carol Hunter of Rocky Mountain Power.
