(KCPW News) This is a podcast of our Authors Live! lecture from the Main City Library with Dr. Devra Davis. Davis is a leading epidemiologist, public health expert, and researcher on the environmental causes of cancer and chronic diseases. She is the director of the world's first Center for Environmental Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.

In her book, When Smoke Ran Like Water, Davis confronts both public triumphs and private failures in the battle against environmental pollution.
