Joni Continuing Education at the University of Utah for “Against the Clock: The Allure of Unrestored Cars” on Saturday, August 11 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, on the U of U campus. Learn the significance of collecting and preserving unrestored factory original cars from an industry leader. Students will gain insider knowledge on what defines an unrestored car and how to spot gems in the rough. After a private viewing of Speed: The Art of the Performance Automobile (an exhibition that showcases nineteen of the world’s finest automobiles, from history’s most notable sports and race cars to the Mormon Meteor III — the car that holds more long distance speed records than any other automobile in history, twelve of which still stand today), participants will walk away with a better understanding on how to better balance cosmetic and historic perfection.
