“SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL FOR KIDS & ADULTS WITH SHORT ATTENTION SPANS” OPENS AT UTAH CHILDREN’S THEATRE.
South Salt Lake, UT, June 27, 2013 – Utah Children’s Theatre begins it’s 2nd annual Shakespeare Festival for kids & adults with short attention spans with classes and performances.
Classes including acting, stage combat, design and more. Performances are August 9th – 24th. Adults perform for kids with The Tempest and Breakfast With Shakespeare ( 4 short tragedies in one play. Ticket includes a pasty and drink). Youthstage (performers ages 20yrs and lower) will perform Much Ado About Nothing. A FREE 15 minute Green Show will play every performance day. Other events include Backstage Tours and pre show synopsis.
Families will have a great experience together understanding more about William Shakespeare’s plays through live performances and events. Utah Children’s Theatre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has operated in Utah since 1985, located now in the newly, beautifully remodeled theatre at 3605 S. State Street.
