The U.S.-China relationship is in the news and at the center of foreign policy discussions across the United States. To help Americans understand this dynamic relationship and to answer their questions on the issues, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations will conduct the Seventh Annual CHINA Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections, featuring a live webcast and Q&A with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, to be broadcast locally on October 28, 2013 at 4:45 p.m.

Following Albright’s webcast will be an exclusive live presentation by visiting expert Ira Kasoff, Senior Counselor and Member of APCO Worldwide’s International Advisory Council. Dr. Kasoff joined APCO after a long career with the U.S. government, including serving most recently as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asia at the U.S. Department of Commerce. His extensive experience in Asia spans more than three decades, with seven commercial service assignments in the region, in addition to private sector and academic experience.

Join us for this exclusive opportunity! Remarks will be broadcast live to town hall audiences in 60 cities and towns across the United States and China. UCCD is the only organization selected to host this event in Utah.

The program will be moderated nationally by Mr. Steve Orlins, President of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, and locally by Dr. Jin Wang, Dean of the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business at Westminster College.
