KCPW Presents: America Abroad “Global Entrepreneurship”

cover_global_entrepreneurshipThe U.S. is often thought of as the land of innovation – a great habitat for entrepreneurs. And, this is still the case. But, why are other regions of the world producing entrepreneurs at a faster rate than the United States?

A Silicon Valley 20-something billionaire. A cattle farmer in Kenya. An artisanal coffee bean merchant in Mexico City — these are the many faces of today’s global entrepreneurs.

While the U.S. has made an investment in entrepreneurship education with over 2,600 colleges and universities across the country offering related courses, there’s real cause for optimism in some rather unlikely parts of the world, from Mexico to Nigeria.

We explore this topic in-depth on this month’s America Abroad: Global Entrepreneurship.

KCPW aired this program on Friday, December 13,2013 at 10 AM and 8 PM.  For more information you can visit their website here.
