Farmers Market Drawing Record Crowds

Salt Lake City’s Downtown Farmer’s Market opened June 11th with record-setting attendance, an estimated 11,000 people. However, 19 years ago when the Downtown Alliance started the Farmers Market, they had to recruit farmers and coax them to come to the city.

This Sunday is Father’s Day, and every year the Utah Foster Care Foundation celebrates foster dads and foster families at the annual Chalk Art Festival, going on today and tomorrow at the Gateway.
