College students in Utah have the lowest student loan debt in the country. But according to a Salt Lake Tribune survey of Utah lawyers, more and more clients saddled with student loans are showing up seeking help through bankruptcy. On Monday, we’ll talk about the high cost of higher education and what could happen if student loan interest rates go up.

Komen for the Cure group will scare away support for the local affiliate. On Monday, we’ll talk about the storm over Planned Parenthood funding and the work Komen funds are doing here in Utah.

Registration for the Race for the Cure will also be available Friday 11 AM to 7 PM at Library Square, near 200 East.
I know when I was in school I just needed money to live on. However, at the end I had racked up over 88 thousand in student loans. I was very optimistic with a job and thinking I could pay back those loan easily. But life to a drastic change, I was not even able to complete my MA but became totally disabled. Now I am forced to have all of those loans “forgiven”.
But now who is responsible for that debt??
