Thirty years ago, animal shelters routinely euthanized stray cats and dogs to the tune of 17 million a year. But a widespread no-kill campaign and adoption events have whittled that number to less than 5 million. On Tuesday, we’ll talk about the on-going movement to provide sanctuary for homeless animals.
