California’s voter-approved ban on same sex marriage could be on its way to the U.S. Supreme Court. Just this week, gay marriage foes petitioned the high court to overturn a federal appeals court ruling that upheld Judge Vaughn Walker’s decision to strike down Proposition 8. This Saturday and Sunday, Plan-B Theatre Company is bringing the play “8,” written by Oscar Winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black to Salt Lake City, dramatizing the court proceedings that led to Proposition 8 being struck down. It will feature a post-show discussion with Black and Congressman Barney Frank.
