Every year, 20,000 Moroccans face paralysis and neurological disabilities, but there’s no medical facility in the country where they can rehabilitate and learn how to deal with traumatic brain injuries, strokes and spinal cord injuries. A Utah-based charity is working to change that. On Monday, we learn more about the needs that Zahra Charity is hoping to address.

“Sound & Light,” a benefit concert for the Zahra Charity, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Libby Gardner Hall, University of Utah. The evening will feature artist Josee Nadeau painting live to Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Overture, performed by the Salt Lake Symphony.
