Segment 1:
When you think of Salt Lake City’s downtown, what comes to mind? What stories or memories do you have of downtown? Those bits and pieces are just what Salt Lake City planners are looking for as they prepare to launch an update of the city’s 17-year-old master plan. On Wednesday, we’ll learn more about the process and the vision for the future of downtown.

Salt Lake City planners are screening the KUED documentary, “Salt Lake City: A Downtown Story,” on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Main Library Auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. Following the free screening, planners will be recording stories and memories of downtown from members of the public. More information about the masterplan process at www.downtownplanslc.com.
Segment 2:
For the past 12 years, architecture students from the University of Utah have been designing and constructing homes in the town of Bluff, Utah, to benefit Native American families in need. Now the program is expanding. On Wednesday, we’ll hear how the DesignBuildBLUFF has changed lives.
