A team of University of Utah researchers is focusing on how technology can help kids with autism develop social skills. On Monday, we’ll learn more about the iSTAR project and how working with the spatial-visual strengths of children with autism can lead to more productive relationships.

Segment 2:
Since 1981, the Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah has sponsored the Faraday Lectures, standing-room-only events where chemistry meets performance art. On Monday, we’ll learn about this year’s celebrated event and how the lectures continue to inspire the next generation of chemists.

This year’s Faraday Lectures scheduled for Monday, Dec. 17 and Tuesday, Dec. 18 are sold out. But one of the older Faraday lectures by Profs. Ron Ragsdale and Jerry Driscoll will air on the Utah Educational Network’s KUEN Channel 9 at:
- Saturday, Dec. 22 at 11 a.m.;
- Monday, Dec. 24 at 8 p.m.; and
- Tuesday, Dec. 25 at 5 a.m.
Free tickets for the Chemistry Department’s 2013 Faraday Lectures will be available from the Department starting the first week of October 2013.
