Craft Lake City is taking the virtual world by storm by pioneering a never-before-seen, innovative and interactive VIRTUAL 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons!
The DIY Festival is Utah’s largest three-day arts festival created by locals, for locals, celebrating all things local. More than 200 local artisans, STEM exhibitors, vintage vendors, food creators and performers participate in the DIY Festival, and from August 7-9, 2020 members of the public can support Utah-based creatives in a new and exciting way.
In the virtual environment, attendees will get to create their own avatar, shop handmade products with friends, and communicate directly with makers, crafters, artisans, and builders, all while having the same feeling of fun you would experience at a live, packed-festival event. Not comfortable with a virtual reality experience? We’ll have a more straightforward, online shopping experience as well. Performers will take part in a three-day Virtual Music Showcase. There will be something for everyone, regardless of tech-comfortability!
Typically, general admission tickets are required to attend the Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival. This year, the Craft Lake City team is taking a different approach. Paid admission will not be required to attend; rather, Craft Lake City is asking all attendees to “pay what you can.”
Attendees can elevate their festival experience with a Harmons Virtual VIP Package! Similar to past DIY Festival VIP experiences, specialty food, drink recipes and CLC swag are all included in the package price. New to this year’s package is the exclusive access to digital content, directions to a private VIP virtual lounge and more!
All interested attendees may register for the Virtual DIY Festival at vitualdiyfestival.com to receive Virtual DIY Festival updates and digital calendar invites to special events within the festival. See you in the virtual world!
The Virtual 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival is presented by Harmons and sponsored by 90.9FM KRCL, Big Cartel, Dominion Energy, Google Fiber, Huge Brands, SLUG Magazine and Xmission.
