Bob_Bennett_official_portraitThe Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: Nov. 6, 2013) –Bob Bennett served 3-terms as a Republican U.S. Senator from Utah for 18 years.  In 2010 he lost his bid for reelection to Tea Party-Republican Candidate Mike Lee.   Bennett grew up in Utah and was educated in political life by his father Wallace F. Bennett, who also served as a U.S. Senator throughout the 1950’s, 60’s, and early 70’s.   Since early 2011 Bob Bennett now serves as a consultant and policy advisor.  He is a registered lobbyist, and serves as a Resident Scholar for the Hinckley Institute of Politics.  This program was recorded live with an audience of students, at the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah, on October 28th, 2013.

The program airs every Wednesday at 10 AM and Saturday at 9 AM. Hosted by Anthony Scoma, the program highlights and contextualizes the forums presented by the Hinckley Institute of Politics every fall and spring semester at the University of Utah.
