The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: Nov. 6, 2013) –Bob Bennett served 3-terms as a Republican U.S. Senator from Utah for 18 years. In 2010 he lost his bid for reelection to Tea Party-Republican Candidate Mike Lee. Bennett grew up in Utah and was educated in political life by his father Wallace F. Bennett, who also served as a U.S. Senator throughout the 1950’s, 60’s, and early 70’s. Since early 2011 Bob Bennett now serves as a consultant and policy advisor. He is a registered lobbyist, and serves as a Resident Scholar for the Hinckley Institute of Politics.
