The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: January 27/30, 2016) — Professor Armando Solorzano and Professor Ronald Coleman both experienced the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement differently. They recently shared their unique perspectives of what the Movement meant for minorities living in Utah. Their talks were organized as part of the University’s Martin Luther King Day celebration last week.
Professor Ronald Coleman has taught and worked at the University of Utah for 4 decades and has been a distinguished professor and coordinator for the Department of Ethnic Studies. Professor Armando Solorzano is an associate professor in Family and Consumer Studies and Ethnic Studies at the University of Utah. They spoke on January 20, 2016.
