Farm Bureau Says Wilderness Lands Not Truly Open to Grazing

(KCPW News) America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act, a bill that would make more than 9 million acres of Utah public lands off limits to development, motorized vehicles, and drilling, is getting its first Congressional hearing in Congress today. Its supporters are busy making their case for the bill, but so are its opponents. One of them is Randy Parker, CEO of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation. After talking with the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance about the bill yesterday, KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with Parker to get a different perspective on the wilderness legislation.
