(KCPW News) Tillman Crane’s black and white photographs of the Jordan River highlight its beauty and its flaws. The pictures in his book, “A Walk along the Jordan,” show the riverbanks bathed in light, while also capturing the evidence of the river’s homeless camps, graffiti, and garbage. KCPW’s Elizabeth Ziegler spoke with Crane about these photographs.
Tillman Crane’s photographs are compiled into a book, “A Walk along the Jordan.” About 30 of these photos are featured in the Salt Lake Art Center exhibit “Reawakened Beauty” that opens this Friday. Crane will attend the opening and discuss his work. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
