Utah’s Top Educator on State Budget Cuts, Sex Ed and Property Taxes

(KCPW News) Budget cuts enacted this year have hurt Utah’s classrooms, according to Utah State Superintendent Larry Shumway. How would further cuts impact public schools? In advance of his State of Utah Education address tonight, KCPW’s Elizabeth Ziegler spoke with Shumway about the state budget, plus proposals to change the state’s sex education law and how tax dollars are distributed to school districts:
