Medicare Cuts Helpful or Harmful?

(KCPW News) The health care reform bill in the U.S. Senate includes billions of dollars in cuts to Medicare. Utah Senators Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennett are warning seniors that the proposal will make it harder to get the care they need. But will these cuts actually reduce access or quality of care? To get a non-partisan perspective, KCPW’s Elizabeth Ziegler asked Lincoln Nehring and Janice Houston with the Utah Health Policy Project about the future of Medicare, if the Senate bill passes.
