Helen Thayer, the first woman to walk and ski to the magnetic North Pole, opened the Utah Museum of Natural History’s 2010 Nature of Things Lecture Series on Tuesday, January 19 at the Salt Lake Center for Science Education. Thayer’s best-selling book Polar Dream tells the story of her historic 1988 adventure. Listen to a podcast of the event here:
I’ve been trying for the past 2 days to download the podcast of Helen Thayer’s lecture. It gets to about 3/4 of the way done and simply stops. I’ve tried from the website here as well as from iTunes. Is there something wrong? How can I download the full podcast?
It’s been over a week and dozens of attempts to download this podcast via direct download as well as trying to get it via iTunes –I’m simply unable to get the full file. The most I’ve ever been able to download was 51MB (out of the 61MB file size). Now I’m trying to download it from work (faster connection than at home?) and the link won’t work at all now.
