(KCPW News) Job creation is expected to be the number one focus of President Barack Obama’s first State of the Union Address, which begins tonight at 7 o’clock on KCPW. But there are also mounting federal deficits, a partisan stalemate over healthcare reform, and an unpopular bank bailout program to address as well. Any proposals the president makes tonight in these areas will have to win the approval of the Democratic majority in Congress. To get the opinion of a member of Utah’s own congressional delegation, KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with Blue Dog Democrat Jim Matheson, who represents Utah’s 2nd Congressional District.
