(KCPW News) The two words resounding at the state capitol during this session of the Utah legislature are “states rights.” Lawmakers are telling the federal government to back off, and we’re not just talking about message bills. A proposal to opt out of federal health care reform and another bill to seize federal land through eminent domain could spark costly lawsuits. We ask Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff whether these fights would be worth it, and also discuss his efforts to fight child pornography.
