(KCPW News) The West Valley City Council is considering whether to follow Salt Lake City’s lead by passing a nondiscrimination ordinance that would prohibit bias against gay and transgender residents in the workplace and housing. Council members are discussing the proposal this afternoon. And it has the support of the city’s Republican mayor, Mike Winder.
