Utah Chrysler Dealer Gets Franchise Reinstated
05.27.2010 by Jeff Robinson
(KCPW News) A Chrysler dealership in Utah is one of the first in the nation to win back its franchise from the Big Three auto manufacturer, after it was revoked a year ago. Homer Cutrubus is owner of Cutrubus Motors, which sells Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles in Layton and Ogden. It was one of 789 Chrysler dealerships nationwide and ten in Utah to have its franchise agreement revoked as part of Chrysler’s bankruptcy agreement. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with Cutrubus and attorney Andrew Deiss from the firm Jones Waldo, which represented the dealership during arbitration proceedings earlier this month.
