Police Chief Gets Nasty Criticism for Stand on Arizona Immigration Law

(KCPW News) Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank’s stand against a strict anti-illegal immigration law passed in Arizona has gotten attention not only here in Utah, but on a national scale.  He recently visited Washington, DC, meting with U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and other police chiefs, who all denounced the Arizona law, which requires local police to ask for proof of legal residency if they suspect someone is in the country illegally.  Now, some of the criticism Chief Burbank has received for making that trip has gotten ugly.  KCPW’s Jeff Robinson asked Burbank if he had received both positive and negative feedback.
