(KCPW News) Although the general election isn’t until November, political scientists in Utah would say that given the state’s heavily Republican bent, the U.S. Senate election will essentially be decided today between GOP candidates Tim Bridgewater and Mike Lee. The candidates share very conservative viewpoints on the majority of the issues, but have been distinguishing themselves based on their backgrounds. And things have taken a sharply negative turn in the past week. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with both candidates on the eve of the election yesterday.
