(KCPW News) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints accepted petitions bearing about 150,000 signatures yesterday. They came from gay rights advocates who denounced comments recently made by one of the church’s top leaders. Later, the church issued a response. KCPW’s Whittney Evans reports.
