The Utah Department of Health is seeking public input on a federal waiver request the state drafted earlier this month, which is needed to implement a Medicaid reform package approved by the legislature this year. The reforms are expected to control the state’s skyrocketing Medicaid costs and improve care for Medicaid recipients. KCPW’s Whittney Evans has been following the story.
