Wimmer Files for Congressional Committee

After being elected into the legislature in 2006, one of the most conservative lawmakers on Utah’s Capitol Hill is looking for a job change. Yesterday, Republican Representative Carl Wimmer announced he had filed paper work with the Federal Election Commission to begin an official congressional committee, hoping to be elected to the House of Representatives in 2012. And as KCPW’s Jessica Gail reports, the head of the Utah Democratic Party says he’s glad to see him run.
