(KCPW News) With AAA baseball’s top players in Salt Lake City for tonight’s All-Star Game at Spring Mobile Ballpark, an article in the Salt Lake Tribune remembers a visit long ago from one of baseball’s greatest legends: Babe Ruth. But he didn’t make the trip here in January of 1927 to actually play baseball. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson spoke with Salt Lake Tribune sports reporter Bill Oram about “the week Babe Ruth owned Salt Lake City.”
