Huntsman Plays to New Hampshire Voters with Nevada Boycott Threat

(KCPW News) Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman is weighing in as Republicans in several states keep pushing their caucus or primary dates earlier, trying to make more of an impact on the race for the GOP presidential nomination. The candidate now says he’ll boycott the Nevada caucus if the state continues to threaten New Hampshire’s “historic first-in-the-nation” primary status. Every Friday, we talk with Thomas Burr, Washington Correspondent for the Salt Lake Tribune and author of Political Cornflakes, a daily, online round-up of Utah politics. KCPW’s Jeff Robinson asked him if Huntsman is simply pandering to New Hampshire voters.
