(KCPW News) Temple Grandin, a world-renowned doctor of animal science who overcame autism to find success, received an award Thursday night in Salt Lake City that celebrates her work as an advocate for people with disabilities. KCPW’s Whittney Evans sat down with Dr. Grandin and the minds behind the movie Rain Man to talk about what it’s like have autism and how the world is changing for people who have the disorder.
