(KCPW News) The number of homeless teens in Utah is on the rise. Over the past five years, Volunteers of America has seen the number of homeless youth in Salt Lake County grow by more than 160 percent. Thursday, the agency announced plans for a new transitional living facility for homeless youth in Salt Lake City, but as KCPW’s Jessica Gail reports, the center can’t open without help from the community.
