(KCPW News) Over the past several years, homeless shelters across the country have remained packed full of individuals and families looking to get back on their feet. It’s no different in downtown Salt Lake City, where shelters are working more closely than ever with the Salt Lake City Police Department to ensure they remain a safe place for everyone. KCPW’s Jessica Gail reports on what officers are doing to keep drugs away from some of Utah’s most vulnerable residents.
