(KCPW News) Sex advice columnist and gay rights advocate Dan Savage is known nationally for his syndicated column Savage Love, as well as his podcast Savage Lovecast. He has frequented many national news and media outlets, such as Real Time with Bill Maher, The Colbert Report, and This American Life. He also started the It Gets Better Project, which aims to provide support for young people who are bullied over sexual identity issues.
Savage held a Q & A session at the University of Utah on Wednesday night as part of the university’s Pride Week. KCPW’s Ryan Cunningham had a chance to sit down with Savage beforehand.
