(KCPW News) U.S. Rep. Chris Stewart has introduced a bill that would tweak how animals and plants are protected under the Endangered Species Act. The bill, which is cosponsored by fellow Utah Republicans Jason Chaffetz and Rob Bishop, would require the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to count animals on private and local land when considering endangered statuses.
