(KCPW News) A month after the interim session commenced, it was part two of interim committee meetings in the Utah legislature on Wednesday. Lawmakers convened to discuss a number of topics, such as water quality, the state fairpark, and affordable housing.
One topic, however, has been on the minds of many state legislators for a while now, and it came up again today in the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Interim Committee: that is, the issue of federal land.
KCPW’s Ryan Cunningham attended the committee hearing Wednesday morning, and filed this report.
