Last week, 14 U.S. Senators signed a letter written to President Obama, urging him to establish a new national monument in southern Utah. In reaction to this, Utah Governor Gary Herbert sent a letter to those senators inviting them to come visit Utah, and see the area around Canyonlands National Park for themselves.
For this week’s edition of Political Cornflakes, KCPW’s Ryan Cunningham asked Salt Lake Tribune Washington correspondent Thomas Burr, “Hey, do you think those 14 senators will take the governor up on that offer?”
