Trump backs Romney, Utah may ax death penalty and legislators can use hundreds of millions in unexpected funding

As Mitt Romney begins his campaign for Senate, his relationship with President Donald Trump appears to warm. Rep. Gage Froerer, R-Huntsville, leads the charge to do away with the death penalty, and he has some powerful players backing him. And state lawmakers seem to have an extra $209 million to work with this year.
