The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air date: Oct. 30, 2013) – Sim Gill was elected as Salt Lake County’s District Attorney in 2010. In recent years he has helped to create and implement alternative justice programs like the Salt Lake County Mental Health Court, the Salt Lake City Domestic Violence and Misdemeanor Drug Courts, and the Salt Lake Area Family Justice Center. Gill is a vocal proponent of alternatives to prosecution, and instead advocates taking a systemic and community approach to issues of criminal and social justice.
