The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour (Air dates: March 15/18, 2017) — Utah state legislators took on many contentious issues this year including homelessness, air quality, funding for education and rape kits, and reforms to Utah’s alcohol laws.  On Friday, March 10th, a panel of lawmakers gathered at the Hinckley Institute of Politics to review the past session and discuss the highlights.

The panelists included: Rep. Brian King, Rep. Patrice Arent, Speaker of the House Greg Hughes, Senate President Wayne Niederhauser, and lobbyist and political consultant Frank Pignanelli who moderated the conversation.

The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour
The Hinckley Institute Radio Hour is a weekly program featuring forums on local, national, and international issues important to people living in Utah. The program airs every Wednesday at 10 AM and Saturday at 9 AM. Hosted by Anthony Scoma, the program highlights and contextualizes the forums presented by the Hinckley Institute of Politics every fall and spring semester at the University of Utah.
